Project Somesha in Sajiloni, Kajiado County

9.11.2022, Project Somesha was honoured to participate in Pads for Birthday initiative first anniversary that took place in Sajiloni Mixed Day and Boarding Primary School in Kajiado County.

We were invited to talk about sustainable menstruation and demonstrate the use of different sustainable menstrual products available in the market. The pupils were eager to comprehend our topic of discussion and that was mirrored by the various questions they engaged us with.

Ronald Mutua, founder of Pads for Birthday initiative talked about disposable menstrual products and Gender Based Violence ahead of the International day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women which is celebrated on 25th November every year.
